libyans all around

Eid Mubarak to u all..even though it came a bit late...but still the same
I have discovered that eid here and in canada are the same...BORING?! lool....
okie last nite i was lying in bed and just thinking....about LIBYAN weddings and how expensive they are. from the salat to gold to the house to feeding all ur guests. wallahi no wonder not many libyan guyz get married early, unless their parents have everything ready for em. masakeen wallahi. weddings takes its toll on the family financially. neways inshallah 3u2balkum all ya rab. (including ME). lol
heres a pic of some of the gold the groom brings to his bride. take note its only some........(this pic was taken at my friends wedding....there is more but shes wearing it).
fee aman allah (as maya puts it)
peace!

get lost from saying this word ..kidding
well about weddings I don't know but thisis our life we can't ignore our traditions
but right now it looks much easy in some families ,,they are not asking for Gold and they ask for مؤخر and that looks good
anyway en Sha Allah 3o2balk ya Rab
heheh fe aman Allah has a story
a akak was using it before me (cause he was already before me ) but he was a good Man by
giving me full authority to use it :)
so fe aman Allah

I agree with you 3abtash, it is not easy to get married in Libya

i agree its not easy but i think 99% of a libyan wedding is money down the drain and we should start cutting back with things such as gold and all the rest .............. i can go on and on and on but what stikes me is that the poorer families are not backing down and they will take out a loan to have a big wedding which to me is stupid (sry) ...... anyway anyway anyway i should stop

Fe Aman allah ...... all rights reserved to a_akak & maya

rabi ikoon fee3on all libyans...its easier for a libyan to get married outside of libya to a girl that also lives outside of libya ccause their families dont demand as much and the costs are smaller.
